This tutorial will show you how I created my most recent image using very simple techniques in MoGraph. It will be a two part tutorial - the first part is about creating the cubes in MoGraph and the second part is about rendering the final image using GI.

As I had promised, this tutorial will show you how to create interesting effects in Cinema 4D using Thinking Particles and MoGraph. Looking at the image I created, it seems quite complex even though it's relatively easy. Thinking Particles is a very powerful tool which might seem difficult to get into for most people, but thanks to the Thinking Particles presets that come in Cinema 4D, it is easy to get started right away.

I've decided to make a second post about graphic design using program after a few more trials with small basic. The first example I want to show is this program which I originally found on the Small Basic forum created by Kenny Kasajian and slightly modified. The original program created this after leaving it to run for a while.

Designers usually use tools with advanced drawing functionalities to create designs. Another way of designing is by using programming, which I recently got reintroduced to. I've had little experience using ActionScript in Flash but never really enjoyed it, so I stopped programming and concentrated more on designing using ready tools. Note: The technique of using programming to design is known as procedural design. The program is called Small Basic by Microsoft. It is a project that's aimed at bringing "fun" back to programming, which is exactly how I felt when I started using it.
