Google gets a new logo

Google got a new logo as part of a redesign of its homepage and search sites. This is how it looks

The colours have been tweaked with the gradients being less obvious, shadows reduced significantly and the trademark symbol has been removed. The new logo and the rest of the redesign have made Google's pages look simpler and more modern.
